Cross Fit – Days 1 & 2

Yesterday I started doing a cross fit class from 6-7 am at Cross Fit – The Point, located a couple of buildings away from iGlobal. It’s kicking my butt so far. We’re encouraged to record our progress so here’s what I’ve got so far.

July 19, 2012: FRANS: Thrusters and Pull-ups. Thrusters- 65lbs on the bar, hold it at chin level, do a squat, then lift it above your head. Pullups. For the FRANS test we did 21 reps of each (thrusters and pullups) then 15 then 9. Do them as fast as you can. I did it in 18:59 and felt pretty pukey afterward. In fact, I felt nauseous all day and into this morning.

July 20, 2012: AMRAPs. Today we did 200 Meter runs, followed by 135lb dead lifts, followed by 10 over-the-bar burpees. We had 20 minutes to do as many as possible. I did 6 full sets. Kicked my trash. I feel sore, incredibly tired and overall beat down. Feels good. Also, on the scale this morning, I was down 5 lbs, from 175 to 170. I don’t expect that’ll last.
